A blend (or mutage) of brandy or Marc de Champagne (pomace) (alcohol 45% vol.) with grape must immediately after pressing to obtain this liquor at around 18% vol. On the nose, it reveals aromas of prune and gingerbread. On the palate, notes of honey and candied fruit.
It's best served chilled as an aperitif, with a frozen dessert (sorbet, trou champenois, etc.) or poured over half a melon.
